Ich finde, man sollte nie auf die Apostel der Teenager herabsehen. Tokio Hotel singen auf Deutsch, und es gibt viele junge Franzosen, die nur wegen Tokio Hotel jetzt Deutsch lernen.

Das Goethe-Institut in Paris meldete unlängst einen Ansturm auf seine Deutsch-Kurse, als Folge der Manie um Tokio Hotel.

Da haben Sie's. Das ist doch großartig, da passiert was. Für die Jugendlichen sind das Momente, die ihr Leben verändern. Und das verunsichert natürlich die Erwachsenen. Der Chefkoch eines meiner Restaurants hat eine Tochter, die verrückt ist nach Tokio Hotel. Und das macht ihm Angst. Ich versuche immer, ihn zu beruhigen: "Lass sie doch, das ist doch gut, auf diese Weise lernt sie Deutsch."
